Abstract

One of the worst flaws of some researchers is exaggeration in praise or blame, and this explains the pessimistic view toward studies conducted by Orientalists, no doubt that many of these studies are not characterized by objectivity or neutrality, but rather contain hatred for Islamic culture that is disgusting, but this does not make us generalize the judgment on everyone, as there are Orientalists who are characterized by objectivity and seriousness in their research. Therefore, it is unfair to put all the studies and efforts that dealt with the Arab and Islamic heritage in the same context. This research will include three sections, the first of which will address the vision of Arab thought on Orientalism and Orientalists, between fairness and bias. The second section will address some of the efforts of Orientalists in the Arab and Islamic heritage and is divided into three demands. The first is the efforts of Orientalists in the Holy Quran. The second will address their efforts in the Noble Prophetic Hadith, while the third will address their efforts in Arabic literature. As for the third and final section, the researcher will discuss a reading of the book (Orientalism Between Two Approaches; Radical Criticism or Condemnation) by Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah. ملخص البحث إنَّ من أسوأ العيوب لدى بعض الباحثين هو الغلو في المدح أو الذم، وهذا ما يفسر لنا النظرة السوداوية لدى البعض من كل دراسة يقوم بها المستشرقون، ونحن لا نشك أن كثيرا من تلك الدراسات لا تتسم بالموضوعية ولا الحيادية، بل فيها من الحقد على الثقافة الإسلامية ما يزكم الأنوف، إلا أن هذا لا يجعلنا نعمم الحكم على الجميع، فقد وجد من المستشرقين من يتسم في بحوثه بالموضوعية والجدية. ولهذا فمن التعسف ان نضع كل الدراسات والجهود التي تناولت التراث العربي والاسلامي كلها على خط واحد. وسيتضمن هذا البحث أربعة مباحث، سيتناول المبحث الأول منه، السيرة الذاتية للدكتور علي بن ابراهيم النملة. المبحث الثاني رؤية الفكر العربي للاستشراق والمستشرقين، بين الانصاف والتحامل. أما المبحث الثالث فسيتناول بعض جهود المستشرقين في التراث العربي والاسلامي، وينقسم على ثلاثة مطالب، الاول منها جهود المستشرقين في القران الكريم. والثاني سيتناول جهودهم في الحديث النبوي الشريف، أما الثالث فسيتناول جهودهم في الادب العربي. أمَّا المبحث الرابع والاخير فسيتناول فيه الباحث قراءة في كتاب (الاستشراق بين منحيين؛ النقد الجذري أو الإدانة) للدكتور علي بن ابراهيم النملة.
