Sheikh Hussein Al-Hilli left a significant impact on many sciences, and he was one of the great men who devoted their lives to the path of jurisprudence and knowledge. He spent his time and effort on education, teaching, and lighting the beacon of knowledge for generations and preparing the ways for people to learn about their religion and beliefs in the correct way. Sheikh Al-Hilli contributed to most fields of knowledge, in addition to leaving dozens of letters, scientific issues, explanations, and reports that placed him among the ranks of the fundamentalist jurists, so he deserved the title of "the investigator" and "Ayatollah" due to the breadth of his knowledge and jurisprudence. Research into his life was indicative of this jurisprudence and knowledge, as his biography was consistent with the great weight he carried. This study dealt with the life and personality of Sheikh Al-Hilli and his most prominent students and sheikhs in particular because it is very difficult to cover Al-Hilli's writings, due to their large number and the diversity of the fields in which he worked. The inductive and descriptive approach was relied upon, which is based on researching the scientific material and shedding light on the most prominent points in Al-Hilli's life and personality. The sources and references that deal with his biography were also used, and the study reached valuable results, the most important of which are: that the scholar Hussein al-Hilli was one of the most important jurists who explained the legal rulings for new issues. The environment in which he grew up was a well-known scientific environment in Najaf al-Ashraf, the city of coffee and ijtihad. The study also showed his vast knowledge and great jurisprudence that he enjoyed, which was a beacon of knowledge that raised the level of learners who followed in his footsteps. Al-Hilli enjoyed many moral qualities and traits, such as loyalty to his friends, brothers, and those close to him. He was an example of asceticism and righteousness and a good example of guidance, generosity, and piety. He acquired much of his knowledge and good qualities from his distinguished sheikhs, such as al-Na’ini, Abu al-Hasan al-Isfahani, and others, and he transferred all of those qualities and sciences to his students after him..
