Abstract

Political socialization is considered one of the most essential mechanisms within the political processes of states and societies. Through its formal and informal institutions, it establishes the foundations for educating and preparing individuals to engage in political life and to comprehend the social and political realities of their environment. It also contributes to fostering a sense of citizenship and developing an identity capable of assuming responsibility.

As a result, political development and progress emerge, appearing most clearly in the enhancement of political awareness. This heightened awareness encourages broader political participation, shapes political attitudes, and contributes to the advancement of democratic processes.

National security is closely linked to the nature of political orientation, patterns of governance, the functioning of political parties, and the prevailing political culture within society. These elements interact with one another at multiple levels and in various directions, influencing the stability and resilience of the political system.
