The analogy and its references in the poetry of Al-Kumait bin Zaid Al-Asadi

This research deals with the manifestations of the simile in samples from the poetry of Al-Kumait bin Zaid Al-Asadi, and reveals the types of similes in it, from the sent simile, a confirmed simile, a detailed simile and an eloquent and representative simile. And the sources of nature, and the research shows the great impact of the analogy in depicting the different meanings and their accuracy and working to highlight them. Since the pre-Islamic era and later eras, it has been mentioned a lot in the words of the Arabs, and it is evidence of the writer’s ingenuity and his unique rhetorical ability to employ imagination to draw pictures and link meanings. He imparts it to the texts that, in turn, is reflected on the reader of poetry and its recipient, and the analogy in poetry in the qumayt does not depart from the sensory images drawn from the environment in which he lives.
