The research aims to shed light on The use of artificial intelligence applications by media personnel in Iraqi media institutions to verify journalistic sources. This study is classified as a descriptive research that focuses on studying facts related to a specific phenomenon or issue through accurate observation and description. The study adopts the descriptive and analytical survey methodology. Using the questionnaire as one of the scientific research tools, it was distributed to a sample of media institution employees. The research found a high level of artificial intelligence applications in Iraqi media institutions, with a mean value of 3.9742 and a standard deviation of 0.812. Additionally, the dimensions (expert systems, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, and intelligent agents) showed significant advancement With an increase in the accuracy level of documenting journalistic sources within Iraqi media institutions, the mean value for the statements under the axis of documenting journalistic sources reached 4.102, with a standard deviation of 0.747. Therefore, the research recommends the necessity of providing technological infrastructure that supports maintaining the application of artificial intelligence within Iraqi media institutions. Additionally, it emphasizes enhancing the capabilities of media professionals in Iraqi institutions to utilize modern and advanced technologies through training programs and workshops.
