This is because the state's ability to act as a regional actor in its sphere of influence continues to be affected by a range of variables, such as the Middle East, which require it to prepare and adapt to achieve a strategic vision that reflects its security requirements and interests . Indeed, Turkey has managed to maintain its regional role in the Middle East by developing a strategic vision commensurate with its potential and capabilities .
