Abstract

The current research aimed to determine the effect of the network analysis strategy on achievement in the "Teaching Methods" course among third-year students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. The researcher employed an experimental design consisting of two groups—an experimental group and a control group—and equated the groups based on the following variables: chronological age (calculated in months), previous year's grades, and parents' educational attainment. The researcher selected the College of Education for Humanities (Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, third year) as the field of study. Two groups were chosen: group A, representing the experimental group, consisted of 39 students, those who studied teaching methods using the strategy  while group B, representing the control group, also consisting of 39 students, but they studied the same course using the traditional method. The total number of students in the research sample was 78.

To determine the students' level of achievement, the researcher developed a post-test, which was reviewed by a panel of experts and evaluators; the final version of the test consisted of 60 items. Results on the post-test favored the experimental group—taught using the network analysis strategy—over the control group, which was taught using the traditional method. The researcher concluded the study by offering a set of recommendations and suggestions.....
