This research examines lexical entries where the morphological scale played a significant role in correcting their vowel markings and consonants, using an important Arabic dictionary, namely Al-Misbah Al-Munir by Al-Fayumi. I identified more than twenty rejected examples in Al-Misbah, the reason for their rejection being their violation of the morphological scale established by Arabic scholars. These examples were distributed across seventeen missing forms, including augmented triliteral and quadriliteral roots, and their augmentations. This demonstrates the importance of the morphological scale in constructing the Arabic lexicon and its crucial role in protecting words from distortion that might affect their vowel markings or consonants.
