The study clarified that Sayyid Muslim al-Husseini al-Hilli was considered one of the prominent Iraqi figures from Hilla, as he was an active and influential scholar in Iraq's intellectual and religious life, distinguished by his combination of seminary teaching, cultural activity, and social work. His efforts helped spread knowledge and expand religious awareness in various cities, especially Hilla, Najaf, and Baghdad, underscoring the importance of the religious scholar's mission in society. His commitment to scholarly work and his refusal to assume official positions reflected his deep dedication to the scholarly and educational mission, making him a prominent scholarly and spiritual authority and one of the main pillars of the intellectual movement in his city. His numerous contributions left a clear mark on Hilla's intellectual and cultural landscape, affirming the vital role of scholars in preserving and developing the community's intellectual identity. He helped sustain the city's scientific and religious movement and develop a generation of students and those interested in religious sciences, reflecting his status as an influential intellectual and scholarly authority in his community. His scholarly contributions were not limited to teaching; they extended to writing on doctrinal and epistemological issues, which helped solidify religious awareness and enhance Hilla's position as a prominent scientific and cultural center. His scientific and intellectual role also emerged in his poetry about Imam Hussein, where he used narrative verse to convey religious and moral values and promote religious awareness in society. In his verses, he embodied the meanings of martyrdom, justice, and defending principles, drawing inspiration from Hussein's life as a practical model to be emulated, and transforming poetry into an educational and intellectual tool that enriches religious understanding and deepens moral awareness among his readers and students.
