Abstract

Literature is a linguistic art, and language is intertwined, complex, and full of secrets. This requires openness to different cultures to explore their depths and decipher their codes. Modern critical approaches have served as a mechanism that facilitates this, as they are based on renewing thought and approaching literary texts. These approaches transform the reader from a consumer of the text to a producer. Texts require interpretation and multiple readings, revealing a new text with each reader.
