Doctrinal education in the behavior of the Muhammadi family (Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq () as a model)

Abstract:. Doctrinal education is the impregnable fortress that can preserve the nation's and community's beliefs and morals on the one hand, and provide it with high morale on the other, holding all its members together and unifying them in their path, stances, and goals on the other. Hence, we find this special distinction of the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the educational field, and the special importance it places on their existence and movement, as well as on building the righteous bloc and the faithful community. The educational methodology in general, and specifically that of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), aims to form a sound educational system based on valuable, objective, and correct scientific foundations. Anyone who studies their noble sayings will find that they outlined the correct methodology regarding religious education in general and doctrinal education in particular. Hence, the urgent need to follow the educational approach derived from the thought of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in general, and the thought of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in particular We find that our infallible Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) followed the path of his grandfather, the Chosen One (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), in focusing on the foundation upon which upbringing is based: choosing the right partner (a righteous wife) so that she may be the best vessel for bearing righteous offspring. He (peace be upon him) said, "Choose carefully for your offspring, for lineage is a powerful influence." His warning about lineage is based on the psychological, spiritual, and moral traits that are transmitted through heredity, because the genetic factor creates the predisposition in the child to possess one of the traits carried by the parents or grandparents.
