The development of biased attribution of projective hostility in children aged (6, 8, 9) years

The current research aims to know

Biased attribution in children according to

  Age (6, 8, 9) years as the goal of the research as well It is known that there are statistically significant differences between children who showed hostile bias in assignment according to the variables of age and gender (male, female). The research sample consisted of (90) boys and girls at the ages of (6, 8, 9) years. Distributed equally between males and females, who are present in the schools of the city of Baghdad, on its two sides, Karkh and Rusafa. In order to measure the biased attribution of projective hostility in children, the researcher adopted the scale (Abu Halawa, 2019) to measure the development of biased attribution of projective hostility in children, which consists of six stories. Each story contains four questions that are asked to the children immediately after telling the story. The researcher extracted the apparent validity and reliability by the re-test method, as its value reached (0,88 ), and the scale was applied through an individual interview with each child of the research sample. In the developmental path, the children's averages indicated a reverse path. The averages began to be high and then declined, which indicates a deterioration in biased attribution with the advancing age of the children. The study came out with a set of recommendations and proposals.
