The Abbasid Call between Organization and Secrecy

Abstract

  The Abbasid Caliphate was established on a solid foundation built as a result of the Abbasid advocacy, which rocked all its potential material physical, cognitive, and even scientific capabilities. This study sheds highlight on defining the Abbasid advocacy and tackles its phases, as well as the circumstances of its foundation. The paper discusses also the reasons that helped achieve inevitable results represented in the fall of the Umayyad Caliphate by an army of the organized Abbasid advocacy supported by followers, leaders and weapons. Based on its ruins, the Abbasid Caliphate and its first successors were built, and after a bitter struggle with the late successors of the Umayyad State, down to some leaders of the Abbasid advocacy who wanted to change the rule to their own, after its thorn strengthened. It became a military and human force, but these prevented the occurrence of one thing, which is the fall of the Umayyad Caliphate; a caliphate that lasted for decades.
