Abstract

The novel (The Last Lines) depicted the social customs that spread in Iraqi society and took root in it, and everything that surrounds the character and affects his actions and behaviors, as it dealt with issues and problems that exist and are widespread in Iraqi society, such as: issues of marriage, treatment between spouses, childbearing, and advice that can It is presented to them to reduce the problems they face in their marital life, as well as issues of elections, wars, etc. The novel is socially accurate because of the social aspects it presents and images that reveal special relationships linking a group of groups, as the novelist presented to us social images in their finest details to reveal society through them. In which a group of problems prevailed that became social diseases that spread throughout the prevailing Iraqi society at that time.
