Despite the collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime at the end of 2024, the US-NATO strategies in the Eastern Mediterranean and Syria have not changed their goals and methods to ensure that Syria remains within the US-Western axis. Especially since Syria and the Eastern Mediterranean in general represent the most important areas of American national security, which can guarantee the direct interests of the United States of America represented by energy security and its supply routes, and indirect interests represented by the security of the allies, so that the strategies of the American-Atlantic partnership in the Eastern Mediterranean and Syria are based on redrawing the region in a way that is consistent with American and Western interests. The most important goals of the US-NATO partnership strategies in the Eastern Mediterranean are to remove Russian influence from Syria and the Eastern Mediterranean first, Secondly, removing Iranian influence from Syrian territory to cut off the axis of Iran's non-state allies, and thirdly, confronting the terrorist organizations that targeted American interests in northeastern Syria and the region in general, and adopting the necessary strategies to prevent bilateral coordination between Türkiye and Russia that might exclude American and Western interests from Syria and the eastern Mediterranean.
