Abstract:This study examines Quranic readings in the electronic school of thought, presenting their origins, the position of electronic scholars on them, and analyzing the most important differences between the readings adopted by the majority of Muslims. It also examines the extent to which electronic Shiites emphasize the seven or ten readings, and the position of deviant readings in their interpretive and jurisprudential heritage. The research examines the analysis of the various positions.By tracing the statements of imams and commentators from both groups, with a focus on Imami works in Quranic sciences, the study concluded that the Imami school accepts popular readings if they are proven by scientific criteria, and rejects some readings that violate linguistic rules or the correct meaning, indicating the presence of an independent critical perspective among scholars of this school.
This study demonstrates that the Imami school of thought approaches Quranic readings according to a disciplined scientific approach, one that does not deviate from the framework of general Islamic ijtihad. Despite some differences in interpretation and exegesis, the readings accepted by them do not differ fundamentally from those of the majority of the Muslim community. This contributes to affirming the unity of the Quranic text despite the diversity of schools of thought and highlights the need for further in-depth studies that combine scientific investigation with doctrinal rapprochement, in order to achieve a broader understanding of the Book of God.
