Abstract

God Almighty has favored the hearts of the believers to be firm, believing hearts that are stable in their places, as if God gives them stronger composure and distinguishes them according to the degree of their faith from those in whose hearts there is a disease, because these people have been exhausted by terrors and have exhausted them to the point that their hearts are constantly moving and shaking.

If the heart is healthy, God will increase it with joy and happiness by describing it as a healthy heart, or a believer, or a heart composed to faith, humble, filled with compassion and mercy, which indicates tenderness, and that the precedence of one word over another is one of the great implications in the Qur’anic context, so compassion is more specific than mercy and more delicate in the hearts of believers, and from that is the Almighty’s saying: And He placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him.”

Or does the Qur’an describe hearts as pure from filth and polytheism, so you deserve to believe in pure hearts, and it forbids other hearts with this characteristic in the event that they are filled with polytheism, hatred, envy, and hypocrisy, and you will find whoever is in obedience to his Lord, strong in heart and steadfast in enduring adversity, God grants him beautiful patience, for there are many means and words by which he strengthens him. God holds the hearts of believers firmly bound and sometimes with hardship, or if faith is more stable and certain in its quality, then He does not insist.

The one who possesses it after that, or if the faith is more stable and certain of a quality in his heart, then it will not harm the one who possesses it. This is considered to be coercion into disbelief.

An example of this is the heart returning to God in all matters and placing its trust in Him in all that concerns it, so the basis of repentance is returning to obedience. The verse indicates that the heart moves from one status to another status different from it, as God Almighty says, “In all matters and placing its trust in Him in all that concerns it, the basis of repentance is returning to obedience. The verse indicates the heart’s transition from one state to another state different from it. God Almighty says, “And he came with a repentant heart.” Qa’an 22: So the verse indicates turning to God.

The heart is the one who knows God and seeks to get closer to God, and the limbs follow Him through the effects that are reflected on them. The characteristic in this research is not a matter of grammatical meaning, but rather it is the characteristic that is reflected in the human self, so the title of my research became “The Good Characteristics of the Heart in the Holy Qur’an.” A semantic study, and one of the research mechanisms was to build on two sections, preceded by an introduction to introduce the heart as a language, and the most important opinions of scholars and interpreters who were exposed to this organ.

The first topic was: firm hearts in the Holy Qur’an through Quranic expression

The second topic: Moving hearts in the Holy Qur’an. These attributes were arranged according to the alphabetical sequence. Given the importance of the topic, the sources required that they include dictionaries and books of interpretation. Among the most important interpretations are: Al-Mizan fi Tafsir Al-Qur’an by Al-Tabatabai, Ruh Al-Mu’ataab by Al-Alusi, Al-Tahrir wa Al-Tanwir.

The most important dictionaries: Lisan: Al-Arab by Ibn Manzur, Standards of the Language by Ibn Faris, Al-Ain by Al-Khalil
