Level of ambition and its relationship to psychological happiness among graduate students

The current research aims to identify level of aspiration and psychological happiness, as well as identify the correlation between level of aspiration and psychological happiness among postgraduate students. The research sample consisted of (89) postgraduate students from the College of Education for Human Sciences- University of Babylon were chosen randomly. To achieve the research aims, the researcher adopted the Nabil (2016) scale for level of aspiration, which consisted of (36) items, and Samawi and Shaheen (2021) scale for psychological happiness, which consisted of (40). The research results that there are level of aspiration, there are psychological happiness, and there are a positive correlation between level of aspiration and psychological happiness. In light of the results, the researcher developed a number of recommendations and suggestions. Training students on how to cope with life's pressures and stressful events that cause unhappiness. Leveraging graduate students' high levels of ambition in other areas, such as computer, internet, and language courses, to maintain their level of ambition by developing their capabilities in these areas and empowering them further. Involving graduate students in various committees and activities held on campus.References
