My reading of the research material and my tracing of the Quranic texts related to Christianity in the Tafsir al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir showed me that this book is an important encyclopedic book in the field of interpretation due to the diversity and accuracy of its topics. It is truly a major encyclopedia for what it contains of sciences and knowledge that benefit those who seek knowledge and learning for beginners and those who have completed the stages of study. Also, the personality of its author, Muhammad al-Tahir ibn Ashur, is a unique personality in his time and country; for he is characterized by seriousness, perseverance, creativity and dedication to serving the Sharia, reforming the educational process, and political and jihadist work; to liberate his country from the clutches of usurping colonialism. We also find the same author in his interpretation from beginning to end with one spirit and one style without slackening even in the verses that were repeated and his interpretation of them had been previously mentioned.
