The family in light of the purposes of Qur’anic legislation - an analytical study

  • Author This research focuses on studying the purposes of social legislation in the Holy Qur'an in the field of family, where it reviews the goals and principles that the Qur'an seeks to achieve through legal rulings related to the family. Relevant Qur'anic texts are analyzed to understand the ends behind the legislation of marriage, divorce, alimony, and family education, including the rights and duties of both spouses and children. The impact of these legislations on enhancing family stability, achieving a balance between the rights of individuals and the interest of society, in addition to its role in building a strong and synergistic society based on the foundations of justice, affection and compassion is also addressed. The research is based on a critical analytical methodology that combines Quranic interpretations with modern jurisprudential and social studies to provide a comprehensive and deep insight into the purposes of Qur'anic legislation in the family field.
