Quranic Quotations in the Poetry of the Emirate Era in Andalusia (138 AH - 316 AH)

Quotation is considered one of the arts of the beautiful, which was known by the Arabic rhetoric since an early age, and it was known by the taste and comes with elegance, far from affectation and workmanship. Essential from the tributaries of the culture of Andalusian poets and writers, and the presence of the Qur’anic text in their writings was a living witness to the depth of their connection with the Holy Qur’an and their influence on it. Rather, the employment of the sacred text and the ability to adapt it to serve their subjects, and the skill in selecting methods of expression became criteria by which the poet’s culture is measured and shows the extent of his success in the development artistic creation process; That is why poets directed their attention to what helps them express their visions and ideas, and has the ability to influence souls. They found all of this in the Holy Qur’an, so they were inspired by its noble texts, and they benefited from it as the richest of their creativity and the depth of their experiences. This study came to reveal some aspects of the Qur’anic influence of these poets. After shedding light on the culture of the Andalusian poet and explaining the importance of poetry in Andalusian society and the sublime position that the Holy Qur’an achieved in the hearts of Andalusians, the study revealed the impact of meanings, stories and commas as living examples that reveal the great impact that The Holy Qur’an left it in their souls, and then explained the artistic methods that poets followed in employing the Qur’anic texts. There is no doubt that the Holy Qur’an had the greatest credit for ensuring the survival of Arabic, while studying its sisters from the ancient languages, while it is getting fresher and more prosperous over time. It has preserved and protected its origins It is free from error and distortion, and its sophistication guarantees a structure and meaning, and creates in it the allegiance of sciences, arts, and banks that it required, so that it became the correct basis for building Arab-Islamic thought and Arab culture.
