Abstract

When the emergence of the Zionist movement was announced, it began to spread the idea of Jewish nationalism, making the Jewish religion a nationality for a people scattered across the globe. It succeeded in doing so by controlling the global media and gaining the support of politicians in various countries, both European and even Arab. The idea was that there was a Jewish people facing genocide, so a national homeland must be found for them. Palestine was chosen as their national homeland, they claimed. They succeeded in exploiting the Balfour Declaration of 1917 to achieve this goal, which they had been promoting even before the ominous declaration. Everyone in various Arab countries began to view every Jew as a Zionist, and every Zionist as a Jew. However, in reality, there were Jewish religious movements that took it upon themselves to fight the Zionist movement, although some of these movements reversed their position and began to support the Zionist movement in its ideas and actions. However, the only movement that remained opposed to the principles of the Zionist movement and the establishment of (Israel) was the religious Neturei Karta movement, which rose up in various forums This opposition is evident, despite the lack of attention paid to it by Western or Arab media. Their oppositional stances and their support for the Palestinian people and their rights, even see themselves as Palestinian Jews.
