Abstract

Our study aims to highlight the values of social relationships as reflected in the sayings of Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him)، with a focus on their significance and their role in preventing social problems. Values are considered the moral charter of any society; through them، foundations and standards are established، and social relationships are built. Values also represent an urgent social necessity، contributing to the cohesion، solidarity، discipline، and organization of society's members. Furthermore، they serve as a means of fostering closeness and interaction among individuals، particularly in our society، as they are based on the principles and teachings of Islam. Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him)، through his sayings، encourages the promotion of praiseworthy values and the avoidance of blameworthy and unethical ones، which—directly or indirectly—contribute to the corruption and deviation of individuals in society.

An individual's social behavior is organized on the basis of the values that he and his society accept. For this reason, values are the basic factor in organizing human social behavior. Values are a reflection of the social, economic and political conditions in society, and at the same time they constitute one of the important aspects that contribute to shaping the social awareness of the members of society on an ongoing basis.
