Innovation and Entrepreneurship as the University’s Gateway for Serving Society – A socio - analytical Study

Our study sought to address the most important contemporary concepts in the field of university education, namely innovation and entrepreneurship, and the important role played by universities in spreading and establishing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among their students and professors. It also linked these concepts to sustainable development goals, which are essential for the advancement and improvement of society. The researcher used an analytical approach in this study to achieve its objectives. The research reached a set of results, most notably the existence of a global trend towards the adoption of a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in university education institutions, and that the integration of the roles of university leaders, administrators, and professors represents a fundamental pillar in building an environment that stimulates creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the university community. In addition, pioneering university education is one of the most important factors in human resource investment, as modernization, development, and keeping pace with new developments lead to the growth and progress of societies, ultimately achieving sustainable development in all its dimensions, which ensures that individual and society can improve their quality of life.
