Abstract

Punitive politics and penalties are among the things that have accompanied human civilizations since their emergence, regardless of the images in which they appeared and the forms in which they entered. It is imposed by society, but among the penalties that take a wide resonance in all societies are the penalties of deprivation of liberty or what is called imprisonment. To find appropriate alternatives to replace these penalties, taking into account the punitive policy that exists in society, and because of this, alternative penalties were born that take into account the offender and the punitive policy in society and do not contradict his concept of punishment and crime.
